A turn of the century bullring in Barcelona has been given new life as Las Arenas. This newly transformed facility provides ample space, spanning from 88 feet high to 295 feet wide, offering a total of 8,200 square feet in floor space. An impressively structured dome tops the building providing an unbeatable location for product presentations, corporate events and conventions. Overlooking the plaça d’Espanya, the modern shopping center and leisure facility opened in late March and is expected to be a major entertainment and commercial zone attracting some 8 million tourists. Part of the venue will also double as a meetings facility providing an unbeatable location for product presentations, corporate events, and conventions. This area, managed by Grupo Flaqué and EUROCASA, tops the five-story Las Arenas, where visitors can also find a 12-screen multiplex, a health club, the latest cultural offering in the city, the Museum of Rock, and a wide variety of dining establishments. The center promises to complement Fira de Barcelona’s trade fair services in Montjuïc.
